STATEMENT FROM DAYSPRING’S BOARD OF MINISTRY
Dayspring Church is a place of hope, love and restoration. It is our sincere desire to be a place of healing for our community.
We also understand and believe that our Nation was founded on religious freedoms for all men and women. Our National Day of Prayer is a representation of all that is precious and the freedom of religion that we all hold so dear.
Ronald Reagan’s proclamation of January 27, 1983 relating to the National Day of Prayer included “...I call upon every citizen of this great Nation to gather together on that day in homes and places of worship to pray, each after his or her own manner, for unity of the hearts of all mankind.”
It is our desire that the people of many faiths be in prayer on that day. It is our desire to celebrate our freedom and the freedom of all people to exercise their religion and be in prayer together. Dayspring will be praying and interceding for God’s blessings upon our Nation and for the unity of hearts of all mankind. We wish for all to participate in the National Day of Prayer.
